Cyber Snipa Intelliscope Laser Gaming Mouse ReviewToday we’re taking a look at yet another Laser Gaming mouse – the ‘Cyber Snipa Intelliscope’. In a world chock full of opponents, we see how this one stands out from the crowd.

The Intelliscope is certainly a good looking mouse, it has a very modern matt black on brushed silver colour scheme, nothing overly flashy, with the Cyber Snipa logo on rear of the mouse. You wouldn’t be ashamed to take this to a LAN and have your friends see it... but it’s not something you’d want to show off is it? Well it is once you plug it in!

Plugging the mouse in gives life to the 6 LED’s circling the mouse and one more under its translucent scroll wheel, giving it that bit of ‘wow’ factor – well, maybe not ‘wow’ but it does look cool. A toggle button on the top of the mouse will switch the mouse from the red ‘Stealth’ mode (1000dpi) into the blue ‘ATAK’ mode (2400dpi) in an instant. This is software and operating system independent, so even without any Cyber Snipa software installed, the resolution and sensitivity will still change. This is fairly common amongst most gaming mice these days in one way or another.

In either mode the mouse is nice and useable within windows, but in ATAK (2400dpi) mode it’s a bit too sensitive and twitchy for my tastes, so I’ll leave it in ‘Stealth’ mode for general duties. The scroll wheel has a good feel too it with its non-slip rubber design, it also has a slightly notchy movement which will help when trying to scroll through menu items in a game, and is nice when using it in windows. The scroll wheel’s movement is also silent unlike some other mice I’ve used in the past.
